Vancouver's Care Package Studios Launches First App, Park-Aid

Vancouver-based Care Package Studios has launched its first app. Park-Aid for the iPhone is a mobile app touted as the "ultimate parking tool."

Park-Aid consolidates the utilities necessary to tackle the many nuances of city parking in Canada into a single hub. The app connects to pay parking authorities to feed metres; it push-notifies when parking time is running out; it tracks the minutes left on parking; it maps parking rates in your area; and it offers directions to parking lots around you.

Care Package Studios is a new company founded by high school friends over beers. After 9 months of studying app development, the Canadian startup released Park-Aid. It can be downloaded for 99¢ here.
