Last October Techvibes covered a Vancouver startup called Gym Technik whose mobile app was a finalist in the Web category at the BlackBerry Developer Challenge. Well, it looks like they may be at it again. Their mobile fitness tracking solution has been shortlisted as a finalist in the 2009 AT&T Fast Pitch Platinum Awards for Consumer Solutions at CTIA Wireless 2009 in Las Vegas on April 2nd.
The team at Gym Technik will make a 5 minute fast-pitch presentation before a panel of qualified judges. The winners of this contest will be awarded the AT&T Fast Pitch Platinum Award and share a part of $70 000 in cash prizes along with a distribution via an AT&T branded portal.
