Vancouver's HootSuite Finally Pushes BlackBerry App out of Beta

Posted by Techvibes NewsDesk

HootSuite launched a beta app for RIM's BlackBerry platform way back in October 2010. Despite several improvements since then, only now is the company releasing an officially complete version. HootSuite v1.0 is now available for free in the App World.

Interestingly, there aren't really any noticeable changes over its last beta version. Features of the app are similar to those already available on the web and for Apple's iOS and Google's Android. The app covers Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Foursquare.

Update your Twitter feed, check in on foursquare, view your LinkedIn connections, and comment on your friends' Facebook posts wherever you are. Upload photos, receive notifications, view click stats, and more. Simple, elegant, and powerful, HootSuite allows you to send and schedule Twitter updates from anywhere.
