Vancouver's Lambda Solutions has released Odijoo.com, a first in online learning platforms. A new look and a sleek and easy-to-use site is all you need to get started. Odijoo, which means "teacher" in Swahili, is free and users can share, create, syndicate and publish online courses with an all-in-one, easy to use platform. It's ideal for small business and entrepreneurs, if you're into offering something for someone to learn. It took a year to develop and the buzz around the service is huge.
According to Shevy Levy, the visionary behind this service, Odijoo is going to eliminate that third party consultant that many people use today. Not only that, it is also going to help companies get their training organized online, quicker. Why is Odijoo different?
Because unlike other online learning solutions, Odijoo allows small to medium sized businesses to have a personalized and secure "campus". A campus is an online storefront if you will, where users can store, administer and promote their Odijoo courses. Campuses are designed to save smaller companies money. What else? Besides integrating things like Powerpoint presentations, easily managing course fees for students and working in an online community, the platform also allows for easy learning management, hosting, integration with social media networks and e-commerce options. Check out the demo and let me know what you think.
