Vancouver Women Taking Charge in Tech

The tech industry has a reputation for being at the very least male-centric and at worst somewhat ignorant of the females in its midst. But while they sometimes don't get the recognition they deserve, women in Vancouver's tech scene are making their mark in fields as diverse as blogging, PR, coding and activism. Keep an eye on Techvibes in the coming weeks, as we profile several women making their mark in both the Vancouver tech scene and across Canada. And offline, Raincity Studios' Tech Women to Watch are being celebrated along with our men this Friday at Launch Party Vancouver at the Lamplighter in Gastown.
