VC Roundtables kick off in Atlantic Canada

Rick Segal of JLA Ventures is on a mission to connect with Canadian Entrepreneurs across Canada with his VC Roundtable Series. He's announced his first three cities (Halifax, Moncton, and St. John's) and is asking bloggers to spread the word and entrepreneurs to register by emailing him with the word roundtable in the subject line.

The free roundtables will be held for small informal groups and take place in the evenings. Segal will provide background information on VCs, Angels and the VC process as well as sample term sheets, business plans, powerpoints, and examples of good/bad pitches. Most importantly, he'll open it up to questions from the entrepreneur group. You'll leave with a better understanding of the VC world, a set of reference documents, and good idea if 3rd party capital is right for your start-up.

Great Idea Rick. And thanks to Thomas for reminding me to post on it.
