VEF hosts BBQ with Former Head of Marketing at Facebook next week
The Vancouver Enterprise Forum is hosting their annual end of season BBQ on June 28th at 'The Hangar' at The Centre for Digital Media on Great Northern Way and we think you're going to LIKE the guest speaker - Entrepreneur Jonathan Ehrlich.
Ehrlich is a Canadian and the former Head of Marketing at Facebook and led consumer and brand marketing efforts.
Ehrlich will talk about his role at Facebook as well as his decision to leave and start up a new tech company all over again.
He'll also share war stories about life in the Valley during the roller coaster years of the dot-com boom and bust as one of the founders of Mobshop, an early group buying pioneer that raised tens of millions of dollars and arguably paved the way for companies like Groupon a decade later.
The evening event includes casual networking, the speaker presentation and a menu featuring BBQ'd Salmon and Chicken.
Tickets are $45 for VEF Members and students and $80 for non-members and available online.
