The Vancouver Entreprise Forum continues its course this year by highlighted Tech's Future Stars with a Fireside Chat with NowPublic's Leonard Brody and Michael Tippett on October on 27th at the Vancity Theatre.

Brody and Tippett co-founded user generated news site NowPublic in 2004 and raised $10.6 Million in VC money in 2007. Along the way NowPublic was named one of the Top 50 sites in the world by Time Magazine and inducted into the Newseum in Washington, DC.

Last month, NowPublic made news for themselves when they were acquired by the Anschutz Corporation for a reported $25 Million.

VEF's upcoming fireside chat will be moderating by Kirk Lapointe, Managing Editor of the The Vancouver Sun. Lapointe is responsible for the day-to-day operations of western Canada’s largest print and online newsroom and is an avid participant in social media.

If you're interested in attending what promises to be an action-packed event (you know what I mean if you've seen Brody speak before), be sure to register online today.
