VEF tackles Social Networking Tools

This month's Vancouver Enterprise Forum panel discussion should be a popular one as they tackle using social networking tools for business development.

The buzz around social networking technology is at an all-time high due to the popularity of consumer software and social networking services such as Facebook, MySpace, Plaxo, Jigsaw, Twitter and LinkedIn. Yet best practice social media strategies are not commonplace. How can these tools help companies? Is it good for generating leads or identifying channel partners to increase your sales? Can you transform your profile to attract highly targeted customers and/or recruit exceptional staff? Will it bring you closer to industry analysts or strategically expand your offline networking or investment opportunities?

The event takes place on Tuesday February 17th at the Vancity Theatre on Seymour Street. Doors and bar open at 5:30pm for pre-event networking and the panel gets underway at 6:00pm with five 100-second lightning talks kicking it off. Be sure to pre-register online.
