Video overtakes search... maybe

According to Newteevee, more people are watching videos online than looking things up, which seems counter-intuitive. After all, how did they find the videos on the first place without looking for them? But with more and more video sites springing up every day, mainstream media like the New York Times and the CBC embracing online video as part of their core brand, and Youtube soon to be used as a form of online advertising, maybe there’s some truth to this claim. And since search giant Google owns Youtube, the two biggest services in their respective spaces don’t have much to worry about.
