Waterloo's Vidyard has launched an app for Vancouver's HootSuite.
The video marketing platform's presence in the App Directory of of the social media dashboard is just the latest of several integrations including Eloqua and Marketo. With the Vidyard app for HootSuite, social marketers can access their video library and add video to any social post directly from their HootSuite stream.
According to Vidyard, video content and social media are a perfect match. They drive the demand for better workflows for sharing video content as well as deeper functionality, analytics and ROI, the Canadian startup says.
"The new Vidyard app for HootSuite makes it possible for our seven million users, including many of the world's top brands, to easily manage and distribute their video content to social channels," says Mark Holder, Director of Partner Integrations at HootSuite. "Additionally, social media marketers can see which channels are driving high traffic, and how users are engaging with each video, allowing them to alter campaigns on the fly for increased performance."
"At Vidyard, we want to help businesses grow with video, and that means making it easy for all parts of the marketing organization to integrate video in everything they do," says Michael Litt, CEO and cofounder of Vidyard. "We already provide innovative solutions for the content creation and demand generation teams, so we're thrilled to integrate within HootSuite's App Directory to add social marketing and community management in the mix."
"Never before has something like this been available for social teams and it is going to disrupt the way social marketers select and share video content dramatically," Litt added.
