Toronto's brand new hot spot, The Thompson Hotel is set to host the Virgin America launch party on Tuesday, June 29th. In attendance will be the larger than life Richard Branson himself, along with a parade of celebrities and media types set to ring in the celebration of Virgin's first international destination.

According to Virgin America spokesperson Katie Baynes:

To mark its first international affair, Virgin America and Virgin Mobile Canada, today kicked off a search for the "Virgin America Provocateur" who's Virgin enough to "rep" the new airline in Toronto. Video entries will be voted on via Google's new Moderator platform and each submission will raise $1 for Virgin Unite's Young Entrepreneurs - a new program that provides entrepreneurship training and seed funds to disadvantaged young people.

So who will be in attendance? Well, you can count on Branson, along with David Cush, CEO and President of Virgin America, Jason Pomeranc, Founder Thompson Hotels amongst the business types along with celebrities such as Kristin Cavallari of "The Hills," Cheryl Burke of "Dancing with the Stars," Stacy Keibler, actress, Gilles Marini of "Brothers & Sisters," Mehcad Brooks of "True Blood," Gregory Smith of "Rookie Blue" and Ryan Cabrera, musician.

Perhaps other airlines will take note of this celeb-studded celebration as Virgin sets the stage for becoming international in an event that will surely be a party to remember, in 2010.
