Vote for your favourite Winnipeg Jets logo
After selling out their season tickets in only 17 minutes, it looks like the Winnipeg Jets franchise will be taking off in style next season.
Winnipeg fans are already sporting their vintage jerseys after confirmation that the team will retain its original name, but what the team sweaters and logos will look like in September has yet to be decided.
Fans can take part in voting for the new logo with HiretheWorld, a Vancouver startup that has been running a logo contest in hopes of getting some interest from True North Sports & Entertainment.
The contest has received over 160 submissions, where fans can now vote for their favourites. The winner will receive $200 and have their designs presented to True North Sports & Entertainment to be considered as the team's official logo. If there is any interest in the designs, HiretheWorld will pass on 100% of proceeds to the winning designer.
The contest will close at 4:00pm Wednesday, July 13. Check out the submissions and vote for your favourites.
