Wajam's Business Exploded This Year but Believes 2013 Will be Even Better

Wajam says that at the start of the year, a couple of hundred people downloaded its social search engine per day. Now, tens of thousands of users download it every single day, according to its 2012 Year in Review video.

The highly awarded Canadian company says it has grown "exponentially month after month," noting that nine billion pieces of content have been indexed on its engine. Wajam now has 28 employees.

But perhaps most impressive of all is the team's athletic prowess. "We're probably the best startup softball team in Montreal," says Robert Brockie, a web developer for the company.
