Techvibes is a media sponsor of the upcoming Montreal International Game Summit (MIGS) on November 9-8th and we're looking for a correspondent to cover the event for the Techvibes Blog.

MIGS (Montreal International Game Summit) is an international event aimed at developing and promoting the skills and knowledge of video game professionals and, on a wider scale, of the interactive entertainment industry. For seven years now, it continues to offer specialized conferences hosted by world-renowned experts in programming, arts, design, production and business; as well as offering social activities. With over 1400 attendees in 2009, which 26% came from outside of Canada, it makes for an excellent opportunity for professionals to network, exchange, learn and understand.

MIGS includes some 80 courses, seminars, conferences and workshops over a two-day period and numerous additional activities including a VIP gala and cocktail parties.

A two-day pass to MIGS is valued at $625 but we're giving one away to a Techvibes reader that is willing to cover the event - one pre-event blog post, a couple during the conference, and a wrap-up blog post.

If you're interested, comment on this blog post with why you'd be the perfect Techvibes correspondent for MIGS. We'll pick one person to attend and announce the winner on Friday, October 22nd at 5:00pm PST. That should give the winner enough time to book your flight and hotel is they're from out of town.
