Gavin pairs his iPhone with Gym Technik, Withings Wi-Fi Scale and Calorie Counter by FatSecret to help him track his progress. Gym Technik lets him plan and track his workouts on his iPhone, Withings his weight and Calorie Counter his daily caloric intake. Having recently logged his 1,027th workout in nearly three years, Gavin has lost 100 plus pounds and credits technology and dedication for helping him stay motivated.
While Gavin's story isn't one of extreme weight-loss, it is impressive.
So maybe we don't need a personal trainer to keep dedicated to a fitness regime. Could a combination of iPhone apps be enough to keep you motivated?
