Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment announced this morning that it will set up shop in Montreal and create 500 new jobs over the next 3 years. The total value of the project is $166.6 Million
Warner Brothers plans to develop an upscale interactive gaming and 3D animation studio in Montreal. The company will also rool out a quality assurance centre and adaptation and translation facilities.
The arrival of Warner Brothers will make Montreal the sixth biggest city worldwide in the video game industry. About 6,000 people are expected to work in the industry in Quebec in coming years.
