Washington Associations Partner Up

The Washington Technology Industry Association (WTIA) and the Northwest Entrepreneur Network (NWEN) announced early this week that they're partnering up with a joint membership program. You can now become a member of both organizations for an annual fee of $260. It's a pretty good deal considering NWEN charges entrepreneurs $125 annually, while the WTIA charges $220 for individuals.

“This partnership was a natural fit, as both the WTIA and NWEN are dedicated to providing the local technology industry with the tools and services they need to succeed,” said Ken Myer, president and CEO of the WTIA. “By offering a joint individual membership at a discounted price, we’re offering one-stop access to our combined services at a time when entrepreneurs and companies of all sizes are looking for ways to cope with a challenging economic climate.”

Newly appointed NWEN Executive Director Rebecca Lovell agrees: “Now more than ever, whether for a newly-minted entrepreneur or a small business owner, entrepreneurs need a competitive edge. And NWEN and the WTIA can leverage the strength and scale of our networks to provide our members with critical services and support at an affordable price.”
