Vancouver upstart social media agency Village&Co recently created a 3-minute video for Tourism Calgary. In the video, Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra belts out Calgarians' tweets to the tune of Carmina Burana's legendary piece, "O Fortuna." The theme of the tweets is how Calgarians stay warm in the city's cold and snow winters.

“As Tourism Calgary's Social Media Agency of Record we are in tune with the city’s social landscape," says Justin Young, Creative Director of Village&Co. “Calgary has a very social media savvy population and we saw a creative opportunity to engage with that community.”

“The most exciting aspect of this video building momentum is the level of engagement we are seeing,” said Gisele Danis, Vice President of Marketing for Tourism Calgary. “People aren’t just watching and moving on, they are embracing the video by sharing, blogging, posting and tweeting to their networks. It shows the power of partnerships and what can happen when a good idea is well executed.”
