Waterloo's Communitech has announced that they are hosting Tech Vibe Career Fairs later this month to help displaced RIM employees connect with other tech companies in Waterloo Region who are hiring.

While this series of events is very similiarly named, they have nothing to do with this site.

The career fairs are scheduled for mid-August with the exact times and location to be announced. Organizers expect a minimum of 10 companies to participate in these events, ranging from startups to large multinationals.

In addition to the career fair, Communitech will be creating an online community where displaced employees can find information about events and events registration, upload their resumes  and find resources being developed with RIM and other community partners.
