Web Developer - MAGNUM Creative

MAGNUM Creative, a Vancouver based design studio, is seeking a talented web developer to join our growing team.

As a Web Developer you will assist with design and maintenance of numerous web projects. You will work with other web developers, graphic designers and marketing personnel. Your responsibilities will include maintaining existing web projects as well as designing and implementing new functionality.

  • PHP and MySQL skills
  • Strong HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills a MUST
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail is essential, design ability a plus
  • Strong communication skills
  • Evaluating new Web related technologies.
  • Experience developing for multiple browsers on both Mac and PC (IE/Firefox/Safari)
  • College diploma or equivalent industry experience
  • 2+ years of web development experience
  • Good oral and written communication skills and ability to create good technical documentation
  • Collaboration & communication skills are essential and we do require someone to work from our office
  • Actionscript 2.0, 3.0 Object Oriented programming a plus
  • Experience with AJAX a plus
* SOAP skills a plus
  • Writing technical architecture documents based on functional specifications a plus
