The Web Strategy Summit is a two-day event targeted at web managers, executives, developers, and designers. It takes place in Calgary on May 4th & 5th. The first day consists of workshops, while the second day is a conference with keynotes and sessions.

Here’s what Gene Smith from nForm said back in December when they announced the event:

It might seem like a strange time to launch an event--the economy is in recession, new layoffs are announced almost daily, and oil prices (the backbone of our economy here in Alberta) are sinking. And yet, there doesn't seem to be a better time to talk about intersection of web/mobile/social media and value.

His team has started to pull together an impressive list of speakers – some names you might recognize include Jay Goldman and Jeremiah Owyang.

Today they opened up registration for the event. The conference will cost you $399 before March 20th, and the four workshops are $299 each. You can register online here. Enter the discount code evlst and you get an extra 15% off.

If you’d like more information on the event, check out the website or email Gene Smith. You can also follow the Web Strategy Summit on Twitter.
