WebPal logoCloud content management and collaboration tools like Dropbox and Google Docs may be great for small businesses. But medium to large organizations are often looking for tools that are more customizable and provide higher security and local hosting – especially in sectors like government, finance and healthcare.

Toronto-based Palomino System Innovations Inc. has developed a product called WebPal which delivers on those needs.

To date, WebPal has been a beneficial tool in helping many organizations catalogue and track their internal documents and workflows. Some of the clients they’ve worked with include: The City of Toronto, Direct Energy Home Services, Sick Kids Foundation and the Alberta Health Services.

On November 29th, the WebPal Team will host an event at the ING DIRECT Café in Toronto to talk about cloud content management and how it can help your business. Matt Hartley, Editor, FP Tech Desk at National Post will moderate a panel discussion on the pros and cons of storing your documents online and on using cloud-based applications in general.

The latest version of the WebPal.net Cloud Server, now offering free basic accounts, will also be unveiled at the event.

“We know the event will be fun, so come on out to enjoy drinks on us and a lively discussion,” says Markus Latzel, CEO, Palomino System Innovations Inc.
