Since 2002 Techvibes.com has been the leading online community for technology professionals in Vancouver. By providing an easy-to-use platform for members to share ideas, generate sales leads, build stronger industry alliances, and recruit key employees, the Techvibes community has grown to over 45,000 members in just five years.
In April of 2007, the Techvibes.com site was acquired by Internet entrepreneurs Boris Wertz and Geoff Hampson. Their newly incorporated company Techvibes Media Inc. purchased the existing site from myZone Media Inc. and I was hired to expand the home-grown Techvibes.com throughout North America.
To start, the Techvibes Blog will be a voice of the Vancouver Technology community focusing on local success stories and technology news. Over time, we'll expand to cover technology hotspots across Canada and throughout North America as we grow our member base, penetrate new cities and bring other technology bloggers on board.
