Well, so much for that - impending federal election axes Tony Clement from speaking at Canada 3.0

Twitter-loving Industry Minister Tony Clement was slated to be the keynote speaker at this year's Canada 3.0, hosted by the Canadian Digital Media Network.

But Tony, who was the keynote speaker for 2010's Canada 3.0, is no longer on the menu. He's been removed from the roster of speaker's due to the impending federal election. 

There's still a generous array of quality speakers, including Anthony Williams and Dr. Michael Wesch, but Tony's absence will still be an unfortunate hole in the event.
