The Web 2.0 Summit(formerly named Web 2.0 Conference) is underway in San Francisco and the West Coast of Canada is well represented at this invitation-only event.

The Web 2.0 Summit is known for its interactive format, stressing audience interaction and participation. Through incisive plenary sessions, cut-through-the-hype onstage conversations, rapid-fire presentations and in-depth workshops, attendees present their unique perspective on the Web's future. They discuss what business models are working, what's next on the horizon, and how all of this will affect their businesses.

The Web 2.0 Summit is a partnership of O'Reilly Media and CMP Technology and moderated by Web 2.0 visionary Tim O'Reilly and John Battelle.
