What is the big mystery at Apple's Worldwide Developer's Conference today?

As Apple fans around the globe are well aware, WWDC starts today.

And as anyone familiar with these year's WWDC knows, the three major announcements are going to be the new Mac OS X, Lion; the new iPhone software, iOS 5; and iCloud, an enhanced fusion of iTunes and MobileMe.

But it looks as though there may be something more—as MacRumours reported, there are two large banners that are tightly bound in thick black fabric. With all other banners around the venue proudly displaying Lion, iOS, and iCloud, what secret could Apple possibly be withholding in the interim?

I suppose we shall all find out soon enough.
