GROWer of the Day: Tony Hseih

24 is still a tender age for many folk, most of whom are just-gradded and lost in an ocean of intimidating opportunities, bamboozled by the expectation that they must actually seize one on their own somehow.

Such was not the case for Tony Hseih, who at the turn of the century—and at age 24—sold LinkExchange to Microsoft for more than $250 million.

Following this lucrative sale, Tony joined Zappos, eventually climbing to CEO. With Tony at the helm, Zappos exploded from minimal sales to over $1 billion annually—this, while also putting Zappos in Fortune magazine's annual Best Companies to Work For list.

Making his LinkExchange sale look like a drop in the bucket, Zappos was sold to Amazon for well over $1 billion last November.

Tony has since written and published a book titled "Delivering Happiness: A Path to Profits, Passion, and Purpose."

At GROW 2010, Kara Swisher, Co-Executive Editor The Wall Street Journal, will interview Tony on his book and the philosophies behind it.
