The iPhone started off available in a single colour before Apple eventually introduced the equally popular white version. But with the looming launch of the next generation of Apple's iconic smartphone, consumers could have more colour options than ever, according to multiple online sources.
The world's most valuable technology company is widely expected to unveil the iPhone 5S on September 10, as well as possibly introducing a cheaper "iPhone 5C," rumours suggest. New photo leaks show evidence that the iPhone 5S may be available in up to four colours: in addition to the standard black and white, Apple may be planning to launch the next-gen device in "champagne" (gold) and "graphite" (grey) models, according to sites such as Sonny Dickson, Mendmyi, and MacBoutic.
Similar rumours cite a Retina-equipped iPad Mini launching by the end of the year, though no new colour variations for the tablet have yet been hinted at.
