The Guys over at Vancouver SEO training shop Reachd are keen on video and it looks like their clients are too. Using Vancouver Realtor Ian Watt and New Jersey Wine merchant Gary Vaynerchuk (the Nightline video below is worth a watch) as business-building video success stories, Reachd is running workshops and they're selling out fast. The $150 Flip Camera that is included in the $200 registration fee could have something to do with that.
Their first 20-spot session on May 13th is sold-out but they've added a 2nd workshop on May 28th and set aside a free seat (and video camera) for a Techvibes reader. You've got two weeks to comment on this post and tell us what you'd use the camera for and why you deserve the seat. We'll pick a winner and announce it here on the blog on May 22nd.

Hey - I'm looking to pick up a camera and training to do some filming of a cooking show I'm going to be launching in September. It's going to be delivered online and features myself and a friend of mine doing what we do best - drinking and attempting to cook gourmet meals. Think Gary Vaynerchuk (Wine Library TV) + Diggnation + Gordon Ramsay + young professionals cooking. Really looking forward to it, the camera and training would definitely help!
Me too. That is, I'd also love to have a free camera AND pick up some training. I'm trying to develop my blog even more, and given my interest in providing exciting local content regarding sustainability and social change, well this seems to be the best opportunity!
Hey - Techvibes readers. Looking forward to having one of your participate in the course on May 28th! It is going to be awesome.
A friend originally helped me start my blog because I was traveling and working in China, and wanted to keep everyone updated about all the things I was doing. I think it would have been great to have something like the Flip Camera so that I could better capture moments and experiences. Since I hope to be capering around lots in the future, I think that the Flip Camera would be a great tool to have! There are no words to describe some of the things I saw while traveling. Video would really help ;)
Sign me up for the contest. Can I have a pink one?
Hey, thanks for the opportunity to win a seat, and the camera!
What would I do with the slick pink goodness? I'd make my foray into video blogging after 11 years of text blogging, by capturing people doing stupid things with the "hidden camera", and then let them know they've been "NetChick'ed" :) What better way to build a viewership than to post silliness that actually relates to people we all know and love?
I've been busy using my Flip, so much that I think the USB key might fall off. So I wouldn't mind another.
Here's my latest video:

With the Flip so handy, my mind is just exploding with ideas. I just need to harness them.

I'm down with winning a seat and a camera. What would I do with it? I'd use it to replace the crappy webcam I'm using to do weekly roundups on the Protagonize blog (http://blog.protagonize.com)... I seriously need a new videocamera.
I'd use the camera to video blog on our site and replace our our old one that just keeled.
Thanks,
Chri
