Wind Mobile Enters 67 Walmarts Across Canada, Offers Exclusive $88 Deal

Startup wireless carrier Wind Mobile has struck a deal with retail giant Walmart. The discount carrier will gain dedicated shelf space in 67 Walmart locations across Canada and will offer an exclusive deal for store customers.

The exclusive is an $88 package that includes a Huawei U1250 phone (valued at $50), one year of "Pay Your Way" Wind-to-Wind calling ($60 value), and one year of "Pay Your Way" SMS ($60 value), for a total value of $170, making the deal approximately half-off. If you don't mind a terrible handset, the one year of unlimited talk and text alone makes for a decent deal.
