Wind Mobile is growing quickly compared with the other wireless startups. It added 45,000 new subscribers in the last quarter to bring its total to 317,000, two-thirds of which have signed on in the past year.

Unfortunately, this number is just a small fraction of the 9.1 million Rogers has, the 7.3 million Bell has, and the 7.1 million Telus has.

Furthermore, Wind Mobile's average revenue per user—which is actually up from last quarter—sits at just $28, roughly half of the Big Three's, which are $60 (Rogers), $53 (Bell), and $59 (Telus).
