Wind Mobile's Holiday Gift: $200 for New Customers

Wind Mobile has a holiday gift for new customers.

The startup discount wireless carrier is offering $200 to new subscribers. In the form of a service credit, new customers to Wind will receive $200 for starting any new plan at $25 or higher. Any phone qualifies and no contract is required. However, the $200 is distributed as a monthly credit of $8, so unless you remain on board for 2 years, you will not realize the full "gift." And Wind does not let the credit go against its WINDtab. Also worth noting is the fact that all remaining credits are lost if a phone number is changed.

Wind's deal runs until the last day of December.
