Winners celebrate at CATA's 25th Annual Innovation Awards

The Canadian Advanced Technology Alliance (CATAAlliance) is a membership-based organization that, according to its website, "grows the revenues of its members by creating a collaborative edge - a chain of expanding value that ripples across Canada’s Innovators, Commercializers, Users, and Professionals. It is the largest high-tech association in Canada.

CATA recently hosted its 25th Annual Innovation Awards on May 20th in Ottawa at a sold out gala dinner. 

"These award winners have shown that they are innovators and skilled business people," said the CATA president, John Reid. "They are role models for the development of commercially successful enterprises in Canada." He added, "CATA's role as their advocate is to ensure that we create a rich foundation of programs and initiatives that enable leading entrepreneurs to launch their products and exploit their new business opportunities."

Some notable winners were NIMTech, who took home the Outstanding Product Achievement in Clean Technology Award, and Alcatel-Lucent, who won the QNX Mobile Platform Award,. For a complete list of winners, click here.
