Vancouver's QuickMobile announced yesterday that it has partnered with Big White & Silver Star mountains to run comprehensive mobile marketing programs for the resorts using their Contextual Mobile Marketing Platform. The mobile marketing campaigns get underway on October 1st and run to the end of the ski season in 2009.

QuickMobile's mobile solution promises to deliver information resort guests can use on their mobile devices in a relevant, personalized, and timely way. According to Brad Parsons, eMarketing Manager of Big White and Silver Star Resorts, the goal is to improve the overall experience of the facilities and interact with their guests in new and innovative way to deliver the ultimate winter experience.

Considering both resorts are self-contained villages and the guests are a very captive audience, this program seems set to suceed. Whether it be restaurant suggestions, leisure spa activities, or new ways to keep the kids from going stir-crazy when off the slopes - the up-sell and cross-sell opportunities seem endless. And Big White can promote it through their Facebook Group which is almost 3,000 members strong.
