Women in Technology: Building your Personal Brand in an online world

On April 21st the BC Chapter of the CATA WIT Forum is hosting a breakfast club event on Building your Personal Brand in an Online World.

With the rapid growth of social networking sites like Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter, knowing how to best leverage these tools to build and maintain your "personal brand" is a critical part of career success.

Jennifer Barron from High Road Communications, a leading technology and digital lifestyle public relations firm, will discuss the ins and outs of using social media-including best practices as well as pitfalls to avoid-as a way to build a personal brand that best promotes you.

The breakfast club event takes place from 7:30am – 9:00am at the Segal Graduate School of Business at 500 Granville Street. Register online if you would like to attend.
