WordCamp heads to Whistler

WordCamp Whistler started as nothing more than a casual Tweet on Twitter. Since then it has evolved into a full-fledged WordPress conference (@WCWhistler) and the date and venue are set. January 24, 2009 at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler.

WordPress developer Automattic is on board as a sponsor and event organizers Rebecca Bollwitt and Duane Storey are looking for sponsors and speakers.

With a world-class venue like Whistler mid-winter, look for this conference to draw much more than just the usual suspects from Vancouver.
