AdHack is a community and market for people-powered advertising. Anyone can create an ad. Anyone can buy an ad. Like an eBay for advertising, AdHack connects ad buyers and ad creators in a secure web environment, enabling community interaction and transactions.

More specifically, AdHack creates a fast and authentic way for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to source advertising without the slow delivery, high costs and questionable value of advertising agencies.

By connecting ad buyers directly to ad creators through web tools we deliver outstanding value to a large and underserved market.

AdHack solves 3 problems:
1. Creating ads is slow.

  • AdHack enables ad buyers to easily find existing ads or to quickly commission ad creators for custom ads.

2. Creating ads is expensive.

  • AdHack charges ad buyers only for the ads they buy.

3. Return on attention for advertising is low and diminishing.

  • AdHack enables word-of-mouth advertising, the most-trusted form of advertising.

We launched AdHack Beta on July 2, 2008. We quickly made our first sale and have made additional direct sales through the AdHack Pioneers program, proving our assumptions and creating case studies of completed ad sales.

We are currently raising a friends-and-family round of funding to grow our direct sales, establish our media partner sales channel and grow our ad buyer and ad creator communities. We will be seeking an A round of funding in January.
