The Association of Internet Marketing and Sales Inc. (better known as AIMS) was founded in 1996 by a group of Canadian Internet professionals looking for a way to learn more about the Internet, and to connect with other Canadians asking the same questions about the Net they were.
What began as monthly brainstorm sessions among friends soon exploded as word of mouth spread the message of a new way of learning and networking with other online professionals.
Since that time, AIMS has grown from that "original three" to become Canada's largest association of Internet marketing and sales decision-makers with over 6,500 members across the country. AIMS events regularly draw between 300 and 500 professionals and the AIMS Discussion List is read by over 4,500 Canadians each week.
AIMS is a federally incorporated not-for-profit organization run by a volunteer Executive Board.
Many now consider AIMS the intellectual, social and emotional heart of the Internet industry in Canada - which is good, because that's our mission.
