BCTIA

As the largest and most influential association representing BC's technology industry, BC TIA is dedicated to fostering growth and development in the province's technology industry and member companies. BC TIA programs and services are designed to meet the needs of the industry in the areas of networking, education, public awareness, marketing and government relations.

The association provides a forum for members to review industry issues, obtain new business knowledge from leading industry professionals, provide input on existing and proposed government legislation, and to work together to advance the industry's interests. BC TIA is also working to promote key issues such as education and training as vital components in the successful growth and development of technology.

Since its incorporation in 1993, the association has grown to over 350 member companies and is the hub of the new and growing technology sector. And today, BC's technology sector has over 5,000 active companies that employ over 40,000 personnel and in 2003 contributed over $3 Billion to our GDP.
