At first sight, ICBB’s latest release looks like a neat solution for the self-starter with a business idea, but no idea how to button it down in a business plan that conforms to professional standards.
As you use it, that first impression is quickly confirmed.

Neat accurately describes a data-processing interface that lists all necessary and many optional content modules on a convenient sidebar menu, and provides a large view in which to personalize each module you want to include in the finished document.

But neat only begins to describe this software’s personalizing features. In addition to standard text editing features, the text itself contains buttons that open dialogs offering numerous ideas and examples which the user can insert into it to personalize the text with little or no writing required. There are also roll-over icons that display pointers and tips, and ubiquitous links to context-sensitive information in the program’s glossary, as well as external links to information resources.

The financial modules contain tables and personalizing tools that guide the user’s input for every item and post results to an array of reports in professional accounting format. There are also graphs with a choice of line or bar display, and many charts.

All data is pre-formatted in neat sans serif fonts. Custom formatting of the text is available from a toolbar.
The optional printing feature lets the user choose which modules they want to publish, in the order they want them to appear in the document, and automatically numbers the pages and sets up a table of contents page.

In a word, neat.
