Founded in 1940, the Caltech Industrial Relations Center (IRC) for Executive Education offers high-impact learning opportunities focused on business issues critical to today’s executives in technology-based companies. Current topics include Technology Management, Marketing Technology Products, Global Business, Alliances/Mergers and Acquisitions, Leadership Development, Strategic Planning, Operations and Cost Management, Product Development, Project Management, and Performance Measurement. New courses introduced recently include Intellectual Property for Technology and Business Development, Acquiring External Technology to Drive Innovation, and Doing Business with India: Key Success Factors. Certificate programs are offered in Technology Management, Technology Product Marketing, and Engineering Management. The Caltech IRC will provide its courses in-house at company sites upon request.
