CATA WIT (Women in Technology) Forum
Our vision is to be Canada's premier "go to" forum that is committed to the advancement of women in technology under the CATAAlliance innovation umbrella.
The catalyst for the formation of CATA's WIT Forum came from a partnership forged in 2003 between CATAAlliance and SpringBoard, a U.S. based not-for-profit organization that has been successful in preparing and showcasing women-led businesses to investors.
In early 2005, CATA conducted an Online Survey of Women Executives to gauge their degree of interest in creating a national forum and to better understand their needs. There was a tremendous response to the survey which provided valuable guidance in creating WIT Forum goals and programs.
