Transit scheduling - The prize-winning HASTUS system helps schedule the mass transit systems of cities around the world: Athens, Boston, Brisbane, Brussels, Calgary, Chicago, Edinburgh, Hamburg, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, Lyon, Montr?l, Vienna, and Stockholm to name but a few. HASTUS offers advanced optimization techniques to produce efficient schedules for both vehicles and drivers. HASTUS can significantly reduce operating costs while reducing the time required to generate new schedules. To complement the basic HASTUS system, composed of HASTUS-Vehicle and HASTUS-Crew, we offer several related modules for customer information, trip planning, transit for the disabled and depot operations.

Routing and scheduling - GIRO also offers the GeoRoute software, specifically designed to build and optimize routes for mail delivery and other postal operations, and now installed at Deutsche Post in Germany, The Post Office in the UK and La Poste in Belgium. GeoRoute is also used by other large public and private organizations to streamline operations such as waste collection requiring a combination of street by street and point to point servicing. This product is based on a geographic database, and thus takes into account the details of the street network such as one-way streets, traffic restrictions, and commercial speeds. GeoRoute's benefits include productivity gains of 5 to 15%.
