Providing low cost, rapid, and effective means of detecting heart disease is what Heart Force Medical is all about. We have developed a new, non-invasive medical device (the digital Ballistocardiograph) to assess cardiac function by sensing the seismic (contraction) forces generated by the heart. These forces are captured by accelerometers in a sensor placed on the chest. The waveforms are transmitted to a laptop computer for analysis by a physician.
