Know Your Financial Advisor
Know Your Financial Advisor (“KYFA”) is the world’s first online platform that connects financial services professionals and the public. The idea was generated by two young financial professionals that wanted to transplant the openness and transparency of web 2.0 and introduce it to financial services.
The financial services industry has a reputation for being opaque, confusing and virtually inaccessible to the public. KYFA changes that - it levels the playing field by creating access and transparency, facilitating dialogue, and providing a forum aimed at engendering trust and value for services.
Launched in October 2010, KYFA has quickly become Canada’s largest online advisor directory with more than 2,000 advisors and a suite of interactive tools and resources. Soon after launching, KYFA received recognition in the likes of the Wall Street Journal, and was named by the Globe & Mail as one of the top 3 investing tools the public needs.
