Overlay.TV
Overlay.TV is an interactive media company that provides an online video platform. This platform enables users, content owners, and e-commerce sites to monetize and customize their video assets by overlaying contextual information directly onto video and linking to external websites.
Overlay.TV was founded in 2007 by Tyler Cope, Rob Lane and Nadav Zin, and received its first round of VC funding in the same year. In February 2008, Overlay.TV launched a public beta with limited features and later that year the company launched its first fully functional version.
In addition to providing the core services free of charge to any user on the Internet, Overlay.TV also provides custom video solutions including custom players, promotional video tools and widgets for content producers, bloggers, advertisers, agencies and publishers.
