Plum Communications Inc.

Plum Communications Inc. began as Plum Studios and Plum Laboratories Inc, a commercial photo and design studio and custom film laboratory specializing in advertising and event photography and design communications.

In 1984, principles Bruce and Jai Cole launched their first exposition and conference VICOM - Visual Communications targeted to professionals in photography, design, illustration and video/film production. In 1992 MULTIMEDIA Conference and Expo was launched for communications professionals in all areas of content development and in 1998 newMedia hosted 200+ exhibitors and 20,000 attendees one of the largest events of its kind in North America.

Jai and Bruce are dedicated to providing lifelong learning in the valued face to face arena we know as the exposition industry. They are active members of the Canadian Association of Exposition Management and members of the Society of Independent Show Organizers; both are founding professors of the industry recognized Exposition, Convention and Trade Show Management post-diploma course at George Brown College, Toronto, Canada.
