Mark MacLeod founded SurePath to combine his fourteen years of management experience with his passion for entrepreneurial business. Through SurePath, Mark provides shareholders and management with practical strategic advice and custom programs to help them grow successfully while realizing maximum company value.

Mark has advised over 200 businesses on the development of comprehensive financial and business strategies. Since 1996, Mark has been raising debt and equity funding at the seed, angel, venture and mezzanine levels in Canada and the US; and has participated in the purchase or sale of over 27 companies. Mark was also responsible for raising over $19.0 million in debt and equity financing during his tenure as CFO with a Montreal-based software company.

Mark is an active Mentor in YES Montreal, an entrepreneurial help centre for first-time entrepreneurs. Mark is often a featured speaker at YES events, giving talks on entrepreneurship, business financing, planning, and growth strategies. Mark is a Chartered Accountant and holds an MBA with a dual focus on corporate strategy and organizational behaviour from McGill University.
