Vancouver Film School (VFS)

VFS is a post-secondary entertainment arts school that has provided students with a unique one-year educational model – and a life-changing experience – for over 20 years. VFS’s 13 production-oriented programs span every aspect of the entertainment arts, including Animation & Visual Effects, Acting for Film & Television, Digital Design, Entertainment Business Management, Film Production, Game Design, Makeup Design for Film & Television, Sound Design for Visual Media, Writing for Film & Television, and Foundation Visual Art & Design.

Guided by respected working professionals – industry veterans who have been nominated for Oscars and won Emmys – students at VFS create films, portfolios, and demo reels that are their ultimate calling cards in the workplace.
Students come to VFS from all over the world, and recent graduates have gone on to work on blockbusters like WALL-E, Iron Man, and The Dark Knight, hit TV series like Battlestar Galactica and Family Guy, and top companies like MGM, Blizzard Entertainment, and Skywalker Sound.
